Methods for Figma to HTML Conversion

You have the option to export your Figma design as a whole HTML code package or as individual components or screen codes:

1. Figma may be used to export whole HTML flows, complete with links and many screens.

2. From Figma’s Dev Mode or Edit Mode, copy or export code snippets in HTML format.

Figma can export whole HTML flows.

Step 1: Launch the Anima Plugin within Figma’s Edit Mode.

Launch the Anima plugin in Figma after opening the project in Edit Mode.

Step 2: Choose a screen and hit the “Get Code” button.

Choose “HTML” from the “Get Code” menu (you’ll also see options for React and Vue code packages).

The Anima plugin will notify you when your design is successfully synced to Anima’s online app.

To get a preview of your Figma design in a new browser tab, click on “Go to Anima.” Then, select “Export code” and then “Download.”

Select the gear icon next to “Export code” to modify the code framework.

The Code Package: What Is It?

The Code Package will be downloaded to your computer and saved as a zip file at the location you specified. This zip archive contains any and all design-related files, including HTML, CSS, pictures, and fonts.

The Anima HTML code package is generated automatically.

Just double-click the HTML file to see a local preview in your browser once the files have been unzipped. All of your interactive and responsive components will be visible to you exactly as they will be in the finished project!

A well-organized code of HTML and CSS will be displayed when you open the files in a text editor.

Screens with Breakpoints (several layouts per screen size) use the same HTML and CSS file and CSS media queries. With assets and fonts included, your code is ready to execute or deploy. Anima generates both HTML and CSS files for every frame/screen.

Figma makes it easy to copy and paste HTML code snippets.

Step1:Launch Anima in Figma’s Edit or Dev Mode as a first step.

Get into Edit or Dev Mode and launch the Anima plugin.

Step 2: Choose an element, layer, or frame in Figma to access its code.

The right panel displays the HTML code for each component, layer, or frame you select in Figma. After that, you have a few options:

  • Import the code into Anima’s online playground.
  • Copy it from the panel.
  • Download the code package.

When it comes to specific parts and displays, this is the simplest and quickest option.

Due to the read-only accessibility of Dev Mode, it is ideal for developer handoffs.
